Excellent post! I teach classes on Small Business Startup for the University of WI http://sbdc.wisc.edu/startup/sbfs/default.asp and have begun encouraging participants to embrace Social Media.
I believe it is crucial for those of us who are solo entrepreneurs. It is an incredible resource to build community/potential clients or customers and to establish expertise.
